Default got my smarty in today!

Just been screwing around with the smarty for a little bit earlier

First thing I noticed is on level #6 and #8 it smokes wayyy more than the edge, and has a lot more "useable power". Also on the highway my edge load % is normally around 35% doing about 70, with the smarty on #6 it is steady about 15-18%. Which is pretty weird to me, but the truck is very preppy!!! Also I haven't even messed with the edge yet, i'm sure the power is crazy between both of the programmers

My question is, what is everybody normally running it on? Also, whats all the other settings at? I havent messed with the timing or anything yet, just wanted to see what everybody else was running
Thanks!
Austin

Thanks, Tony! Sorry I wasnt able to order one from you I needed one to change the timing in the truck. That "popping" was horrible!

Any tips from you and your smarty Tony?

Won't gain stacking the Edge and Smarty. Tried it once, and I actually lost power. Keep the Edge as a gauge, just unplug the injector harnesses from the Edge.

Really? That doesn't make since. I knew it wouldn't be a 170hp gain and a 160hp gain on top of the smarty but I did not think it would make it worse.

You can't stack things that do the same and normally gain much, frequently you loose power. More fuel does not always mean more power.

Update your Smarty with TNT if you want more fuel then add a pressure box.

The smarty was supposedly updated with the TNT, but I dont think that it was. How do I go about getting this update? It did not come with a USB cord.

You can download the update and tools from MADS web site. Any USB cable will work to update it form your computer.

My experience with stacking is also the same as Cerberus60. Make sure if stacking that they are doing different things. I added a pressure box with edge and now wow! Edge does not do pressure but it (pressure) helped throttle response big time and mileage also. Mileage steady cruising almost 2mpg. My edge made the horses but only seemed while in the upper revs. No problem now! Feels like change from small block to a big big block.
