Default Poly Leaf Spring Bushings??

I'm dreading replacing my leaf spring bushings, (the ones in the shackles) on my 1999 Superduty with an 8 inch lift. Anyone got a slick and easy way to do these?? I can only imagine how hard it must be to get them out and back in. Any help would be appreciated.

use a torch to get them hot and pound them out thats the only way ive ever been able to get them when theyre really stuck. if your not reusing them it doesnt matter how bad they get damaged just dont damage the spring. and make sure you grease the new bushings good too

So just heat up the eye of the spring for a little expansion?? Sounds easy enough.

no you DO NOT heat up the spring. you heat up the bushings so you can melt them out. through time they almost like rust themselves to the springs (i know rubber doesnt rust) but they get stuck good. if you cant pound them out with a prybar/large screwdriver and a hammer, melt the bushings out. DO NOT heat the spring up itll ruin the integrity of the metal
