Default Biodiesel, workin hard

Well you guys ive been playing with biodiesel a bit because my family is involved in commercial biodiesel distribution. We have it running in a 900 hp cummins a 08, and a 2001 ford powerstroke with 900,000 miles on it (still on original engine minus injectors and some smaller parts). Then also going to be putting it in my 97 cummins when i go back up to alaska in a few months, wich is going to be a big test due to weather.

Thought i would report on biodiesel vs petrollium.
After changing back and forth in the cummins and the powerstroke, both engines ran notticeably better with the biodiesel. Such as running quiter being more responsive and getting more power at lower rpm. We had to replace fuel filters after the first tank of biodiesel because being a more powerful solvent then petrollium it cleaned out any sludge buildup in the engine and fuel tank.

I should mention that the biodiesel we have been using is perhaps the purest that you are able to find do to new technology, wich helps with the performance side. Also it is being able to be ran in the 90+ year vehicles with no problems as long as they have sythetic fuel lines instead of rubber.

I'm really thinkin as this stuff becomes more available people are going to be using the stuff alot more i would go as far as saying it is probably better then the petrollium diesel from what ive seen. I was wonderin how many of you guys have been playin around with the stuff also?

I have been hearing alot of mixed stories on the biodiesel cost part. is a home kit going to give me good results and how much is the normal expense to start making bio?
Thanks

I' m a bit scared of the solving agent capabilities of Bio Diesel. It is known for being ultra aggressive to VP seals too.
So I stay away from it.

My dad and i have been running it for about 5 years with a fuelmiester home setup. He owns a fast-food chain so used oil is never hard to find. Ive put over 150,000 miles on my 03 dodge with hardly any problems. (most are probobly a result of my tinkering ADD and my right foot ) hes strarting it in his 09 6.7 later this year.
