considering the purchase of 03 f250 with 6.0,after reading all this info i'm sort of confused. could someone please help me out? good motor or not?

if u dont bomb it it should be ok but if ur gonna build it from what i heard head stud it all but first thing.

From what I've read in several mags and forums, its a pretty bada** engine. If you're planning on doing any mods to it, head studs are definitely the first on your list. I know they have a some what bad rep because of the gaskets failing, but that usually happens when the owners don't fix the head studs before they do anything to the engine.

yeah head stud it n you should be good to go. oh n block that egr. my boss has a 6.0 thats stock n man is that thing quick
