i am thinking of getting of geting rid of 99 dodge and buying a 03-05 dodge or a 03-06 dmax. What advice would you give on that. it will have a programer it will be for pulling a drag truck 3000lbs

if you dont mind me asking why are you geting rid of the 99? and what are you looking to get out of the newer truck? might help with getting some advice.

 

just wanting a newer truck to pull a race truck. theres nothing wrong with the 99 and it has 213,000 miles and will pull just as good as a newer one, probley better with all the upgrades. it needs more upgrades transmission, lift pump. thats it realy just tired of that truck and want an other one. haven't made up my mind yet tho. i bought it cheap (farm truck) and rebuilt it to what it is now

 

makes sense was just wondering well I know when I had my 03 dmax it was a really nice ride and towed well I dont know much about the 03 to 05 dodges though.

 

im going to keep the 99 til the end of the year give me some time to save some money. i think i will look for a D-max first but still would not mind a dodge
