Default Citydiesel DV's and 370 marines!!!!!!!!

So i was looking around for some new dv's and came across a set from citydiesel.net..I see it says about 50 more hp than 191's..it also says "why use a water pistol when you could have a fire hose"..so i got to wanderin. Would it be possible to machine stock dv's and make the hole bigger? or is it like a totally different design n what not? dont worry im still gonna buy these dv's..just a little curious thats all..

Oh and also i just ordered the 370 marines from them..is there any particular thing i will have to do to the afc to make it run properly..or do i simply put the new injectors in and play?
Thanks Bombers

you may have to bump your timing a little bit more for the 370's, I would also run thinner washers to try and get the fuel back in the bowl

Does anyone have links on writeups on the washers?

They shim the marine injector up enough that it kinda sprays in the piston bowl, right?

all injectors need a way to seal in the bottom of the bore they sit in ours have little copper washers they come in three thicknesses thick medium and thin the thin washers came on the 215 engines if you use these thin washers it puts the injector deeper into the ombustion chamber so they are set deeper in the piston bowl becuase marine injectors have a wider spry pattern having the nozzle deeper in the bowl keeps the fuel in the bowl more and where it swirls with the air charge better and helps to mix everything this gives a cleaner more effiecent burn

do you think with the injector going bad it could have damaged the Pump?

BTW have fun controlling EGT's with a stock charger with those injectors and delivery valves and a 0 plate....

Damn it! i heard about that..and i hope a bad injector didnt damage my pump..it almost sounds like theres air in the system or something..very slight misfire.

How could a bad injector damage the injection pump? Is the missfire at a certain RPM, same unloaded as loaded?
