Is it possable to run an S400 with the 64mm wheel as a big single??

 

yes I'm running an s465 with a .9 A/R as a single on my 12 valve and I can DD it if I want to

 

Would the .9 A/R still be the same with a vp truck? And would 200's be enough to spin it?

 

the A/R is the size of the turbo housing so its the same for all trucks. Its gonna be a lagy turbo, I throw quite a bit of fuel at mine along with head work and a cam. I think an s364 would be a better choice for a street truck.

 

Yea, the S464 is way more than what a VP can fuel!

 

what sucks about that is the S464 is only around $600 and the S364 is in the $1,000

 

nothing sucks about the s464 its a stock replacement for a 60 series detroit if I remember right.

 

It's not as "in demand" therefore the price is lower!
