Im new to diesel bombers and i have been following some posts and finally became a member... I have an 02 Dodge cummins and i have had an edge ez in it and it malfuntioned and cost me like 2500 dollars to figgure out that it was my chip... to make a long story short i have a 5 or 6 speed turbo on my auto and i need more fuel to it and im trying to figgure out what to buy for a chip... I really dont want to buy another edge product... i do a lot of pulling and i dont want to go extreme. i have an afe intake 4 in exhaust n gauges and a beefed up auto tranny.. id greatly appreciate some suggestions...

X2. With the Adrenaline/Pulse combo you can do just about anything. Just be sure to upgrade your fuel system though.

 

X3 on the Quadzilla Adrenaline. It's worked extremely well for us.

 

well ill be the first to vote against the quadzilla, ran it hated it every second it was on, never made the power it advertised when on the dyno, lots of people still have problems with that box, it works great some people, sucks for others. ive known way too many people that have fried either ECMs or VP44s while running this box. It ran it for 2 weeks and took it off, threw it in the back corner of my shop where it sits today. it aint ever going on my truck again.

Go with the TST powermax 3 or TS MP8 or hell even a bullydog, just stay away from the quadzilla

 

The quadzilla wont make the power the Edge comp Drag will eaither

My truck make 345/805 with just the Adrenaline. Ive never seen a Comp do that with stock turbo and stock injectors.

Maybe they do work better on a stock truck but if they made big power with built trucks we would have seen some proof by now. I like the quads for the most part. What tune are you running now luke?

 

I love my adrenaline. Just wish i had the pulse to go with it. I'm also running an HX35 on my 01 auto. The juice w/ attitude is also good. I dont like the smarty cause it cant be adjusted on the fly like the adrenaline or the juice. Or if you can find a Van Aaken smart box they work really well to. Wont make alot of power/smoke but definetly helps.
