I have a little turbo swap idea that I am kicking around. I have an 8.3 cummins with a recently rebuilt hx-40 on it, and I have my 5.9 with the hy-35. I have played with the 8.3 a bit and think it could use a lil bigger turbo now. Im thinking about selling my 35 and buying a hx-50 to put on the 8.3 and putting the hx-40 on my 5.9. Any opinions/suggestions for either? And what will it take to put the 40 on the 5.9?

sounds good. but dont people say HX-40s got weak shafts or something like that.
