Default New and need some help?

hey my name is red and i have a 01 dodge 2500 2wd with a hypertech programmer, dual after market electric fans, volant cold air intake, BD turbo set up. I need to get my hands on some gauges for my truck and preferablly exhaust temp, turbo, and fuel pressure. And I also have 4in exhaust from the down pipe back, but not getting hardly any smoke and I think its my injection pump going out, so I could use some help

You dont have enough fuel to make lots of smoke. That, plus your aftermarket turbo is doing its job and cleaning the smoke up.

I would recommend guages (including a fuel pressure guage) before doing anything

welcome BTW....

You can get guages from any one of our sponsors - you can request a price quote here:

As for the black smoke - you need more fuel - different fuel box and maybe injectors. Have you had any tranny work done?

Myself I would ditch the hypertech and get a edge juice with attitude, or quadzilla adrenaline with pulse, as both of these have gauges built in to monitor all you need, plus it will give you more power. Also what turbo you running? That will help determine what size injectors you need. What trans do you have?

Request a quote from the sponsors here for the gauges as said before, then save up for the tranny/clutch (you didn't mention if it was auto or not). Neither will hold much more than that Hypertech for any amount of time anyway. Otherwise you spend on all the mods then can't use them because of the tranny.
