I don't think it sounded like crap, but that's definitely not QUIET, by any stretch of the imagination.

I've heard one of these in person, driving by me outside of Royal Oak, MI. and they are REAL quiet.

Personally I find quiet diesels to be an oxy moron. diesel were not supposed to sound like a little car just buzzing by; so if that is what it really sounds like then I’m glad. we all know how the truck is going to end up anyway:chiped, stacks, injectors,lifted, and pulling chevys out.. oh i mean pulling a sled.

 

i have a 04 cummins and bought an 01 cummins so i could here the clatter that i miss so much
