What does ever one think of this tire. How loud is it. What kind of miles can I expect out of them for 285/75/16. Do they do well in mud and wet grass? Are they worth 1,200 and is that a good price.

very good tires im running 35s on 18s love them 40000 miles plus little better than 1/4 tread quite and smooth ride ill do another set of them

 

I had 38" Super Swampers SSR on my Super Duty and bought a set of 38" Toyo Open Country's and I love them!!! I would totally buy another set, their quiet and smooth and do awesome in the Snow and mud and dirt and rocks. Would totally recommend

 

I just got a set of 295 70 17's on my truck ( pretty much the same size as the one's you are looking at). I can honestly say that they are extremely quiet. I truly think that my grand caravan is louder on the highway if you forget about the exhaust on my truck.
As far as traction, I can't really say because I have had them on for 2 weeks and we haven't had any rain and I haven't had a chance to find mud.
