Howdy I wanted to know how to stack the edge and smarty. I already have the edge juice installed and wanted to know if I have to remove it in order to load the Smarty. If the VP is tapped to I have to remove that, and do i have to change the settings on the low boost fueling on the Juice. I have done a search on the topic and have read about what settings to put the smarty at even number tunes, but on installing it I come up empty. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

 

you just load it up like normal shouldnt have to do anything with the juice...the smarty reprogramms the computer the edge just intercepts the signals from the computer and tweaks them...and yes only run the smarty on the even number tune...

 

I unpluged my edge comp before it was loading,also turned off all accessories radio etc.No I did not remove the tapped wire for the load.Remember after each load I waited 30 a least before I did another load.Make sure you have the right year.

 

I see well there seems to be two theories on what to do. Has anyone stacked the Edge Juice and Smarty if so how was it done. Thanks ahead of time.

 

i got the edge with hot unlock on my 99 cummins with the smarty stacked, it works great, only on even numbers! dont add timing to the timing thats already coming from the edge. the only problem i have is the hot stage wont work with the smarty. any ideas on how to fix this??

 

Can't really help ya with the juice stack but I did have the drag comp stacked with smarty. I didn't unhook anything from drag comp just loaded the smarty. Ran this combo quite a while until I changed to TST pm3 with no problems at all
