Default Cheap methanol injection

Ok guys, what is the cheapest way to do this on a first gen 12 valve?
I want at least a 5 gallon tank mounted in the bed.

When I say cheap I mean using parts from whatever works.

5 gallon Sparkletts jug tied to the corner of the bed; drill a hole in the cap, stick a hose through with a grommit.

Buy a pump capable of at least 100 PSI.

Buy a pressure switch. Use the pressure switch to engage the pump.

Use a mister nozzle found in the "Garden Supplies" section of the hardware store.

A check valve is a good idea to keep the water in the line between the nozzle and pump from dribbling down into the engine.

The pressure switch is optional. You could just use a manual switch and not forget to turn it off ever. Or use a momentary contact switch on your accelerator pedal.

I don't know anything about water injection on naturally aspirated engines.

Short of, say, attaching a hydraulic or pressure washer pump to a starter motor or something like that (which is how you get 1000+ PSI with a 12 volt pump), the best 100+ PSI 12 volt pumps that I know of are the ones marketed for water injection that sell for $100-150. They're all Shurflo's, but I went to a Shurflo distributer in town thinking I might be able to get a bit of a discount by cutting out the middle man and they wanted over $200 for the same pump. So I think that the pumps for water injection are priced pretty fairly.

you will want the check valve to keep the boost from going back thru the water lines.

i thought about trying some thing like that. but i figured that if i missed the setup, it would flood the motor with water and loose power rather than gain it. keep us posted if some one trys to build one on the cheap.

I used a hydraulic pump unit for a lift gate off a medium duty truck. I used water pump lube in the water and I injected after or in the intake air horn. I do not like the idea of water in or before the I/C. I also used the produce cooler nozzle and was running 60+psi of boost. The set up worked awesome.
