Smarty Jr Vs Sr
Ok guys heres the deal. Just ordered guages and a S&B and next week will be ordering a smarty. Truck has stock auto (saving for built but may take 6 mo to year). I never tow or haul ever just drive 60+ miles a day to work and back. Drive very conservatively infact dont think i have ever had pedal to the floor much less rpms over 2700. I guess reason for smarty is some added fuel econemy, smoke, and maybe ill wanna put pedal to floor like once a month when a fast and furious car pulls up beside me ... which one should i go with and why and if i continue my boring driving habbits my tranny should hold up right???

will your jr work on mine its the same year as yours but i thought they were not changeable from one truck to another ? if so how much do you want for it

They both will work on the 03-07 5.9L's. If you got it loaded on one truck, can't load another. But you can use it to read codes and adjust the speed on the same year Dodges.

If you buy a used one make sure the person returned their truck to stock! Then you can put it in another truck. SR is more adjustable the pod is amazing with what you can do!
as far as tranny life it will live if you drive calmly but it only takes one hard run "Flooring it" to burn your clutch pacs up. At A minimum put a good valve body in it to increase line pressure. then a TQ and you should be good for a little while. There are some other needed mods to stay alive call Dave at Goerend He will fill you in!
