Any One Built A Tree House for there Kids ? Got Pics?

My Boy has one of them Swings/Slides/Crows NEst things but now he wants a tree house ........

Is this more for you or the boy? I think home depot or lowes sells plans for some pretty cool ones

 

I think im just going to go about 6 feet up between 3 trees nail a 2x4 on them and put some ply wood down and build a ladder

 

thats what i had when i was little. It couldnt be too hard. You could always assemble a bomb party and trick them into doing it with beer.

Don't use nails on a Tree DM, use hemp roap and lash your lumber to the tree then nail boards to boards... youll risk killing the tree if you nail to it.
No, i aint no tree hugger, i just like trees...they are living things too ya know

 

Those look fun, I had the old 2x4 you mentioned. My grandkids will never see a tree big enough for a tree house much less my own.
