hey everyone I'm looking to put a first gen. 12 valve cummins in my chevy. looking for as little electrical as possible because its going off road (mud and water). a little background on what i was thinking would probably be a good idea. well we know the engine. as for trans. was thinking a 4L80E with manual shift valve body, np 205/203 doubler, and modified axles out of a 404 unimog. four link suspension and coil over shocks. want to keep the body looking as stock a possible. i'm also doing a frame off resto at the same time so trying to get as much of a game plan together as i can before i start. any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Only wires would be for the fuel shut off solenoid and the alternator. Sounds like a nice project!
