You got issues Jon!.................but only you would love these misplaced boat anchors.

I've replaced to many pumps on a 6.5 to ever buy one. 6.2's are alright I guess, if ya just want something to tool around in and get decent MPGs.

I absolutly hate my 6.2 1 ton dump truck, it will eat a fuel pump each spring, leaks oil everywhere, I already had the previous motor snap a crank

BUT I would like to turbo it....

I love mine. Use it to get to work, does the job just fine, and I get 26 mpg with 38 inch tires and 5.13 gears. NO power, but with fuel prices like they are, I will not complain.

What would you like to know StrokeTech.

6.2L and 6.5L are kinda like a specialty of mine. I worked on them for 7 years while in the corps. If someone has a question on them Just go ahead ask me and I will answer them.

I have manuals at home for these engines.

I have done complete rebuilds, head replacements, injection pumps, injector replacements, engine replacements. Tranny replacements, transfercase replacements. Pretty much anything and everything on these engines I have done.

Also I will not give any of the secrets out on how to make more hp with these trucks. Reason being is if you don't really know what your doing when you make adjustments to the injection pump you can cause severe damage to the pump and the engine.

It is possible to make the 6.2L and 6.5L to smoke like crazy though. I mean blacksmoke. If the cummins guys think they can get there truck to smoke. I can make it look like a black storm cloud is rolling down the road.

I love my 6.2's and 6.5's ,I have run them for years ,broke cranks ,rebuilt them, you name it, also drove a 6.5 turbo pickup to the canadian border pulling a big u-haul trailer up and down the mountains no problem except a broke starter bolt, i held the starter in place while she cranked it and did not switch it off for 41 hours
