here is the truck, its a 1997 bought it 2 weeks ago has 12v, 4x4 5speed, 80,xxxx miles. stock. here is the truck..


i cleaned up a valve cover leak and while i was there i took it apart and cleaned,sanded and painted a few parts... when i get the time i will finish the engine compartment. Also took the transfer case off and the tc adapter to fix a leak and got it all back together and sealed up and dry as a bone now..(im **** about leaks)... enjoy

any ideas on cleanin up the exuast manifold? mabey cleanin all the rust off then gettin it coasted or somthin? just to make it look a little better under the hood..

Thats a really clean looking truck man...I really like the rear bumper. Is that a ranchhand bumper? Also what color did you paint the inside of the engine bay? I think we got the same color truck.

 

yeah the rear bumper is a ranch hand, the engine parts are painted regular ole cummins biege from cummins. Then high temp clear coat over top of that(bout 8 to 10 coats). it holds up well will look good for years and years. And yeah 80k miles on it is rare, tust me ive been lookin for a low mileage 12v excab 4x4 5 speed for a couple years now. they are out there but most want any where from 12k to 20k for them i found this one on craigs list an hour after he posted it, He sold it to me for 8200. Not bad at all, hell i dropped everything and drove strait over there and got it.
