Default hx 35 turbo

Has anyone here ever rigged up a hx 35 turbo off a 12 valve for there six five. I'm just wondering how it would work will it bolt rite up to the manifold? How could you rig up a mechanical waste gate?

Not a direct bolt up, some have fabbed them to run, they have some lag issues when used with the 6,5, plus make more boost than the 6.5 safely runs at stock, most that have gone HX35 lower CR which can bring about poor mpg and starting issues in cold weather. ATT as Woddy suggests is a superior turbo in all respects, buddy of mine sells them, it's a bolt on kit, can be bought new for pretty close to same price as a remanned turbo price, and works well with stock CR, stock program, or with a reflash like the GL-4 Heath sells.

I just picked up my cummins intercooler and WH1C turbo for 125 bucks. I just couldnt beat the price. With a little fabrication i ought to be able to make something up. Just no time right now...
