Default 1/4 mile times

Just wondered what kinda times some of you are running in the .25$ mile. Went to the track for the first time 3 weeks ago and have fallen in love with the adrenaline rush you get when going head to head with some one at the light.... anyways... i only ran a 15.8. Though i think my transmission wasnt allowing me to go any faster (wasnt getting trough the gears like it should) and my bro ran a 14.8 in his standard 95 12v.

Let me know what you guys gals are coming up with???

i left both ways a couple times. had a little wheel slippage but it was mostly becuz of the TQ converter not locking up early enough. so id agree, had something to do with the tranny just going through gears but not as well as it should or locking up. and ill have to check my times. dont have the paper here with me at the moment.

SLOW. I'm still learning about the torque of a diesel engine. 3rd gear boost launches, didn't spin the tires but it sure smoked the clutch bad

12.92 with my setup. when I had stock turbo and injectors with the juice it ran 15.06. Have you tried a lock up switch? Just pull up to the line and turn the switch on it wont lock till 2nd gear.
