How to get into the instrument Panel?
Somehow, the back side of the clear plastic that sits in front of the instrument panel is dirty and/or scratched. I would like to take that piece of plastic out and clean it or replace it. Is that even feasible? If so, could someone point me to a place where I could get a diagram of the instrument panel and instructions on how to get into it.
1. remove the knee bolster (panel just under the steering column)
2. depending on the center console that you have, you need to remove the bezel around the stereo.
3. remove the side panel (as seen when opening the door. it is just snapped in and is a bit tough but does come out.
4. there are a few screws that hold the cluster bezel in place, remove them to get the bezel out. Then you are on the downhill stretch.
while you are there, you can also change the bulbs out to a colored bulb if you want. might as well if you are even thinking about it while you have the cluster removed.
install in reverse order
have fun!

I have been thinking about a custom gauge cluster or something...
It will match my aftermarket sterio then. As well as my Edge.
