The stalls, some have a higher stall better for racing. The 1056 is your more of the all purpose converter. That is why we both run them. They allow the turbo's to spool, but are still good for towing and daily driving.

Update, the trans gets put back in tomorrow. I went with a SC1055 converter. It has a higher stall. This has proven to be better for the 4094VVT.

We will have some numbers soon.

Sounds good. Finally got my suncoast IV installed too since i posted here. I have the 1058 conv. Seems good so far just , got about 2000 mi on it now. What a difference in holding power its awesome. The dashawk TC slip is nil..One more thing I thought i'd thro out there, I was having a shifting prob, slamming into gear. This i the second time this happened to me. Once with the dpf on and level 4 on PPE, and now again with the DPF off and level 5.. Changed out the primary fuel filter and all is well again. Even tho it was only 50% life with the fass lift on too.Seems to mess up the shifting..
MPF what trans temps are you seeing? With the SCIV I'm up to 200-208F @ 80f with no load. I'm told this is normal for the SCIV. The oil is about at the top of the full side when at 180f . I might drop some to get down to the lower end of full..

Well I got delay, and the trans will be going in within about two hours. Temps should be around 200 though.
