Well i went to my first drag race a little ways from where i live. they have a 1/8 mile track down at the Super Speedway. I was disappointed to see only 5 trucks show up for the truck class. but oh well. Practice runs when good. i didn't spin much at all on my take-offs even though my truck is 2wd. my fastest run was 9.548 at 74.somethin mph. (time sheets are in the truck.) but when it came down to the first race i was ready to go. light turned green and i...spun and fishtailed 3/4 of the way down the track. i was pretty pissed. my time for that run was 10.999 at 70 mph... however. it really wouldn't have mattered cause i had no shot at winning. the F250 i raced runs about a 8.5 but he had somethin mess up on his run against me and ran a 9.1 and the other f250 there well he ran a 7.5 at 94 mph. for his 1st run. and he destroyed the cummins they put him up against by about 10 car lengths. no joke. they dodge ran a 12 against me in the practice runs... but anyways. i still had fun. i won 4 races and lost 1. some old truck that i was runnin pretty even with in the practice runs was who i beat 3 times. and then i beat that dodge. i'll go back sometime. and i'm hopin more trucks show up that way there's a little more competition.

oh and i talked to the guys in the fords. they were from a diesel performance shop here in TN. the Ford is puttin down around 900hp and weighs 8500lbs. it's a hoss.
