Default cracked transfer case

i notice a little bit of oil under my truck today and i went to check it out and noticed that their is a small crack from the rear drive shaft back about 2 1/2 inches long the crack isnt wide or anything just enough for the oil to leak out of im gonna take it to the dealer tomorrow and see what they say but my question is would it have anything to do with the lift i put in it a year ago or just a bad case? any info would be great

Driveline angle changes can cause this if it's an extreme change and not dealt with.
It could also be a bad casting in the case. Most likely if it was a drivetrain issue you would hear and feel a diffrence in your truck!

Is DC going to cover it? I kind of think they wont want to cover it.

I think I would be talking to Rough Country - this shouldnt happen as they should be able to engineer a kit properly to prevent this kind of thing.
