2006 Ford F350 Super Duty - Bragging Rights

Modifications were not limited to the engine. The stock transmission has held up admirably to the big power, allowing Brody to spend some of his hard-earned money on appearance items. In addition to the Superlift suspension and 20-inch wheels, Brody added an RDX billet grille with a Peterbilt emblem. Inside, the leather interior is complemented by an LED dome light and an A-pillar gauge pod that monitors the Super Duty's vital signs. DiPricol Optix black-face gauges monitor exhaust gas temperature, boost pressure, fuel pressure, and transmission temperature.

Not hard to do... 5r is a tough sucker... It will not hold that power forever, but they are night and day better in stock form then a 4r...

Damn that's sweet. I had no idea, I just assumed all automatics were still weak. I normally cringe whenever I hear people driving 500hp trucks with stock driveline parts. I doubt my allison could take that much abuse, I'd probably be limping in no time.

Brody's trans finally failed when he tried to get in to the 12's with to much juice... He had it rebuilt with a Suncoast kit....

If you read the article, it's 500 HP without the aid of nitrous.
