tires are you running without leveling kits and such ?

I am running a 11/2004 6.0 Gasser 2500HD

Could i fit my Toyo Open Country A/T 315/75R16 without having to cut anything ?

OR even my 33x12.5 R16.5

 

not without serious rubbage, 305/75R16's are the biggest i've seen on a stock 2500HD and they rubbed pretty bad with the stock wheels, so any wider wheel with a different offset is usually going to rub even worse, 285/75's are pretty standard on em with little to no rubbing

 

i recall the rims being American Racing some wider stuff...

would a leveling kit be ok to run 315/75 ?

 

you can get 35's but it all depends on backspacing and width of the tires.

if they are too big crank up the tortion bars, or you can cut the fenders a little bit.

For now i just put my 33" under, the fit nicely, but i need to crank the torsion bars...

shouldn't be all that stiff on the truck only having 19000 miles on it

 

Just cranking the t-bars and triming the plastic inner finder wells, I started out with the 285/75-16 on stock PYO's, then went to 305/50-20, now I have 305/55-20. Once they are trashed I'm going to the 285/70-17 on H2 Hummer wheels.

 

them 20 in tires get expensive dont they

I've got 325/60R18's on Eagle alloy 18 inch rims, and that comes out to a 33.4" tall, 12.8" wide tire. They rub slightly at full lock, something I can deal with.

 

im running 315 75 17 on a 05 just cranked torsion bars and plastic trimmed a little and they dont rub unless im flexing it pretty bad
