So, uh, I walked outside yesterday and i noticed a small dark spot under my truck right under the factory fuel/water separator. it was dark pink, and i didnt know where it was coming from. its not in the cooler supply or return lines for the transmission, but its all over the suspension, starter, and fuel supply to the cp3. havent been able to clean it up and start it to look for leaks, but its not lookin pretty. im about a quart low, and its everywhere. anyone know if goerend finalized his 68rfe? or if suncoast's is worth the money?

ATS has a billet torque converter for it. its in the lateset Diesel World

 

Suncoast also has a Torque Converter for the 68RFE.

 

upon further investigation, it looks like the valve body is messed up too...gonna take it fully apart tomorrow and check shafts and splines and the valve body itself

 

cd...find out anything more on your teardown or any more info on a replacement (parts or whole) from ATS or Suncoast or anyone else for that matter?

 

SUNCOAST SUNCOAST SUNCOAST!!!!!!!!! Dont mess with anything else. The folks at ATS a great people but you dont see there trannys holding up like a suncoast! ALL of my trans. biz goes to suncoast or Olee poole!
