Default Would anyone be interested in this race?

If we were to put on a race at Lake Cumberland Dragway located in Russel Springs, Kentucky for diesel trucks would anyone be interested in something like this. I am friends with the owner and trying to help him get a race together for trucks. The track has only been back open for a couple months now. He is the new owner of the track and he wants to know would the diesel guys be interested. LC dragway is just east of beach bend. Let me here some feedback to see if we should get something together.

No the track is only 1/8 mile. We are trying to get together with some diesel shops to have them down with vendor setups and things like that also.

You might want to post this on Competition Diesel Forum also. After what happened at Beech Bend and TS... they might be looking for a new track especially if it's close to Bowling Green.

I have been to the track, it is pretty nice IMO, ( cost me an input shaft).

is there any reason people prefer 1/4 over 1/8 or is it just a personal opinion?

I know the way the talk was after TS, Beech Bend said no more diesels EVER... so they might be interested to know about this track especially if they plan on having TS next year.
