What are the pros and cons of an IDM (injector driver module) modification

 

The pros are the it increases the voltage to 140 volts and causes the injectors to stay open longer increasing your power. The down side is if ya screw it up you end up buying another IDM.

But it is an easy mode if you have soldering experience, take your time and use a very low heat pencil tip iron with solder that has a high silver content
