my friend and i are wanting to put stacks on his 91 cummins and i had seen alot of guys on here running a stack box setup. so my question is where do we start?? what kind of metal, how big of a box and so one. so if you have made your own stack box let me know how it worked for you thanks.

 

What is a stack box?

 

I'm pretty sure what he is talking about is the box that some guys have in there bed instead of round pipe

 

Like the box guys use to protect the y pipe in the bed?

 

make it a 4.5/5 inch box and cut holds in the top and one on the bottom. 1/4plate sounds about right

 

1. Get some diamond plate.
2. Get some cardboard
3. Measure cardboard, fold cardboard, cut cardboard
4. Cut diamond plate
5. Weld diamond plate


Cardboard template will make it easy. I'm bein' a smart *** by numbering it like that, just use some heavy poster board or large cardboard to mark it off and measure 4 times before you cut. Good luck!
