Talking Got the new ICEBOX installed today!!

Got the new ICEBOX a week or so ago and got the air filter yesterday afternoon!

First off I want to say a BIG THANKS to dieselbombers.com and HDR Diesel!!

This is the ICEBOX and the filter

This is under the hood of the mighty Dodge before I started -

Then I removed the lid, filter and nut holding old box in truck

Set the new one in - bolted it in (new bolts came with it), hooked intake tube and air temp sensor up

Installed new filter, hooked up intake tube and air temp sensor

Put lid on (silver powder coat )

A very easy install. All I needed was a 1/2 wrench(to take battery cable off), a 10mm wrench to take nut holding old box in, a flathead screwdriver(to loosen hose clamp on intake tube and tighten clamp on new filter), a 13mm wrench and socket to tighten new bolts that came with new ICEBOX, allen wrenches provided with ICEBOX(to install new air temp sensor screws and remove and install lid) and about 15 or 20 minutes of extra time. Piece of cake! Mama drove it after the install(since she is the one that drives it everyday) and said it picks up speed a lot quicker, especially in 6th gear.
Next will be the new gauges that a buddy of mine gave me...........will show install of that too!!

THANKS DIESELBOMBERS.COM AND HDR DIESEL - Y'ALL ROCK!!

Lifetime warranty is GOOD - but what can go wrong with it to have to use warranty?
