Default LMM tuner comparisions

Ok guys I know there is alot of info on this site for tuners. I want to give my feedback on all 3 DPF delete tuners. I feel this thread will help new members looking for infomation on what tuner best suits there needs.

Quadzilla Stealth 2.

Pro's

This tuner is a great entry level tuner. It yields great mileage. I have used it to tow also and had good results.

The tuner also smokes quite a bit, which is what some are looking for. (also a con for many)

This tuner also reads and clears DTC's, changes tire size, gear ratio's.

Clears EGR codes.

Can be stacked on Stock NO DPF setting.

Con's

Takes a long time to load, often freezes if everything is not just right.

Shifts could use some smoothing out.

Power falls off around 2300 rpm.

Smokes quite a bit.

Quad tech service. If you have had troubles you are aware what I am talking about.

PPE hot+2 Race

Pro's

Has great shifts.

Reads and clears DTC's, adjust tire size, gear ratio changes.

Clears EGR codes

Has great power potential.

Minimal smoke

Con's

Its pricey compared to other options.

Power does not come alive till 2300 rpm.

No the best option for towing, since power hits at 2300 rpm.

Slow downloading, also freezes sometimes.

Edge Evo Race

Great Value, power and gauges in 1 package.

Great shifts, smooth power.

Reads and clears DTC's, adjust tire size and gear ratio.

Clears EGR codes.

A good mileage tuner

Removes the VVT hiss at idle.

Downloads in less than 1 minute, and has not frozen to date.

Smokes quite a bit (a con for many)

Con's

Smokes on higher settings. (but it is a race tuner).

Tyler,

Thanks for your input. I don't do much with the newer Chevy's so its good to hear some real world experience. How would you rate the Edge Juice with Attitude?

It is a low hp unit, it is a nice package with the gauges built in, but it just doesn't make enough power imo.
