Apalachin electronics behind the T/A in Knoxville at the 369. They have never done me wrong, n always done excellent work at a good price. Trouble is they cant sell kickers (fcc lisence) CB channel 14.
I still havent found a shop that can wire a good talkback though. Well I take that back, inside the Petro in Waterloo NY did a good job with the right resistor.

I've got a guy at home I use, and that's about it. I don't trust them guys out on the road. I gotta do somethin with the built in Cobra POS in this truck. My boss won't let me drill any holes, so my galaxy is in my pickemup truck right now

 

That sux. I have always ran a turned up 29 with talk back n galaxy finals n an external speaker, i cant live without it now. I gotta get it in n see whats up with my SWR meter/control, the needle goes ape chit when u try to adjust it.
Im itchin for a connex turbo. hehehehehe

 

ahhh the days of setting off car alarms with dads cb...oh so much fun. Don't remember what his mobile is in his pickup...home is a galaxy saturn with an ameritron. Six element beam...verticals and horizontals...dont rememeber the name. Talked to russia. Talked to brazil barefoot with it on skip. I was amazed when I was little.

Ghostrider Electronics in Bainbridge GA has always done me right. There is also a good shop in Fl off of I-75. i cna't rember his name though.

 

I don't know which guy jasonfriedlin is talking about, but I know of one guy around us that works out of his house. He can do pretty much anything with a radio. I've had several 29s with extra channels, galaxys, connexs, a ranger turbo, and a cherokee. He's been able to get every one to be crystal clear with awsome swing. He talked me into my first rk56 mic, and I won't use anything else now.
