Default Shocks On Z71 2500

I had my lift put on and obviously I have my old shocks. In the past I know that Chevy put Ranchos on the 1500 Z71's but no where on these shocks does it say Rancho.

Is there a part number to look for to see if it is a Rancho or not. I want to sell them but I do not want to sell them as Rancho's if they are the standard POS shocks.

I am not 100% sure but I think the LTZ are Z71, I ordered mine as a Z71 so I could be wrong. The other trim packages are 4x4 unless you get the Z71 package added.

Check with Rancho, or Bilstein I'd personally not put less on a heavy duty. Forget the others!

My new ones are CST which are the exact same thing as the Bilstein 5100's. They ride really good compared to stock, but then again I am far from stock on anything at this point.

There are only a few shock makers still in the U.S. I run rancho 9000's on my 1 ton srw. Not as soft as a Bilstein but better customer service by far!
Plus they are 100% better than stock in any situation.

Hope they work well for you!

No shock can help your truck. Short bed in a 1 ton That is one Rigid ride.

Ive had the 5100's, no complaints.
