will a Dana 300 last?
So I am planning on swapping my 6.9 idi into my 85 toyota 4runner I am trying to find a t-case that will give me a good crawl ratio for it do you guys think a dana 300 will hold up behind a 300ish hp 6.9 idi?
not really sure but I was thinking of running these gears in the case
LoMAX 300
they seem pretty strong but not sure if it would be worth the money or should I save for the Atlas tcase

the only problem with the 203/205 doubler is the length I am planning on shoving the motor back through the firewall so i am kinda afraid of drive train length

300's are tough. One of the guys I trail ride with has one behind a 468 with a transbrake. He street and trail rides it and also puts nitrous and paddle tires on it and mud races it. It's in a wrangler and runs pretty decent. I don't see a 6.9 putting a much stress on it unless you've got 500 to 1 gearing in front of it.
