Default Springs and what not

I pulled out of my stock pump 3 springs and one washer, with 2 steel spring seat per side when i did my 4gsk, the truck had never been opend up before that. i guess my question is does the 215 pump have an extra, larger washer per side? cause when usmcbay posted a picture of what he pulled out he had 2 more washers than what i pulled out. any info on this i was told the washers are just shims and every pupm is different? is that true? i still can get my truck to rev past 2800rpm out of OD and i put the 4gsk in? something is obvously wrong

I have not yet installed a fuel psi gauge, and i have never touched the timming in the truck, so i belive its @14dgrees. what i can tell you is when its in od, i can hit 2200rpm really fast and get up to 70mph pretty quick, but then the rpms drop when it hits high gear and i am @1900rpm in 70 cruzen, if i want to go faster i mash the pedal and the rpm will go pretty quick up to 2200 and then slowly rises to 2900 and it is nutless after 80mph but i can push it too 95. i have 3:50 gears, and the hummer h2 35'' tires. all i want is to be able to get 110 out of the truck, but still be able to go fast off the line, which for an auto it goes pretty good aff the line. if i have od off the thing hammers right to 3000rpm and 70mph no problem. so i am lost on what to do next?

did you put the hd valve springs in also. if not your floating the valves.
if your fuel psi is good then the only other thing i can think of is bumping your timing to 15.5*

The timing could have slipped.

How would it of slipped? I have not yet ventured into the timing of these motors? i know the only wat for the timeing to slip on a gas job, is for the chain or belt to skip or the dist vibrates and turns? What causes the timming to slip on our cummins 12valves?

Did your kit have 3 or 4 springs?
