stock before anything was broke in, i was getting 16-17mpg on the highway. it was also winter time so the winter diesel hurts mileage a little bit

Stock with 5,000 miles just got average of 17.5 on mostly highway @70 on the last tank by the overhead. Was 18 the first half of the tank, then I had some 90 mph stretches on the second half of the tank.

I should add that I was surprised with this tank. The same trip has averaged 14-15 on the overhead this winter, so maybe the fuel is factoring in or just the low miles????

mine always ran around the 17 range, except winter, down to 15.5-16 mpg, about 70,000 on it now.

Default 2WD mileage

22 at 70, 29 at 55. 126,000 on engine. 2wd with 5 people in the cab.

Don't know if it's relative to the heavier 4WDs though.

Going by the overhead (haven't checked accuracy yet) on a 300 mile trip I took today, with the cruise set at 65 the whole time with the exception of about 30 miles off the highway I averaged 19.8, according to the overhead. I am going to fill the truck again tomorrow and hand calculate it.

2008 stock 6.7 auto tranny 2500 4x4, odo now has about 1800 miles on it.

thats your guys tale; i sit on mine, my truck stock at 75 mph going from maryland to tennessee and back got 14.2 hand calculated and my overhead said 17.6 when i finished the trip. that was with an intake and ts mp-8 otherwise it would have been less. plus for you guys with 5.9s remember these 08's have a dpf and egr which totally ruins fuel milage
