Default gettin to the fuel plate

how did ya'll get that one screw off on the corner of the afc housing? Did you chisel it off or what? I can't get it off to get to my fuel plate.

ya all i keep hearing is that you need to chisel it off.

I sloted mine and unscrewed it but to each there own

I use a t12-15 torx head driver, tap it in with a dead blow and then twist it out. its always worked quite well for me. Slotting it works also. The driver just seems to be a real snap.
As far as chiseling, are you thinking of trying to snap the head off with a chisel or using a chisel to slot it?

Same here. Then I replaced all of the bolts with new ones from the parts store so they're all nut heads.

i was able to get the chissel in there, actually from the side, with the corner of the chissel, dug it in and got it loose. i turned it with every wack or tap of the hammer. then chisseled a notch for a flat tip

i tried to chisel a notch into mine to unscrew it but the head just popped off!

No big deal though, just uncrewed what was left of it once the housing was off and out of the way...

ya idk why, my afc housing had four bolts and all of them came out
