What the hell happened to the Turbo whine on the new trucks? I miss the noise a 2200 RPM's what can I do to get it back short of buying an older truck?

 

Exhaust and try and find a old metal aftermarket intake tube. And IIRC the LLMs still have the black plastic resonator under the hood the say 6.6 on them. Take it off and cover the opening with a rubber sewer pipe cap or something that will keep it from sucking air.

 

We can do some experimenting tomorrow....

I actually changed the intake to a AFE stage 2 and it helped quite a bit, the PPE air box mod did not work for me at all.

I am out on twins.

 

is there any type of silencer on the intake side of the turbo like on the dodges?
