hmmm power to weight ratio...ram probably weighed 5k lbs...ranger probably 3500 lbs. ram w 500hp ranger with probably 400 easy. so for the ram that 1 hp per 10 lbs right? the ranger is 8.75 lbs per hp. I'd be willing to bet that ranger has a bit more than 450 hp as well...pretty sweet ranger though.

That is what happens when you drop a built small block into a ranger. THere is a boy up at school were I work that has a newer ranger ext 4x4 with a lightning engine in it. Boy is a good at wireing, looks like it is stock and man will that thing move. He is running 9s with slicks all around and nos. Looks stock until you hear it or look inside at the full cage.
