Default 1000 Gallons of Royal Purple

Check this out. I ordered 1000 gals of 15w-40 Royal Purple for the four 3516 Caterpillar main engines on my ship. Total price tag - $19,100.

Delivered in two 500 gallon "tote tanks". I tried to order some in 5 gallon sizes but they wouldn't go for it. Something tells me they know I own diesels.

It was worth a shot. Damn!

I'll try and get some up tomorrow. Yup, all 16's. I've got pics of some recent carnage too.

She's a ROV (remote operated vehicle, aka unmanned sub) ship. Used for work on oil rigs, oil pipelines, oil well heads, etc. 9700 hp, 292 ft. long, 75 berth capability, 100 ton knuckle boom crane, 100 ton heave compensated tower winch. I just posted some pics of one of the Cat 3516's onboard in pieces in the Show and Tell section.

Carries 249,519 gals of diesel fuel.
