Default low, lopey idle

alright my truck starts and runs great, although after i drive it for a while it will idle slightly low, right below the line, im not sure what the line is maybe 750 rpms im not sure but if you got a 94-97 you know the line anyways when i start it it will run right there smooth as silk after i drive it for a while the idle will drop just below that line and if you give it throttle to bump it back up to that line it is real shakey and lopey all the way up till about 1200 rpms, im not sure at all whats causeing this but im getting sick of it, maybe some of you guys can help me out here, thanks

try bumping the idle up a little bit and see if that is the problem....

Id adjust the Idle when the engine is hot, then it should idle alittle high when cold which is good.

alright maybe this will help heres a outside video and an inside video of what it sounds like, this is after driving about 30 miles home from the fire cheif convention on highway and about 5 miles around town, i also jacked the idle up and it was idling above the 750 line and now its back there after driving this distance

it almost sounds like it has a miss below 1250 rpm's above that its smooth as silk

and btw the exhaust dosnt touch the bed its about a 1/4" away, thats the only way i could snake the 5" through there

have you eliminated the overflow valve as a variable?

i have not, i beleive mine is not the origional because its a 95 and it has the nut on top, does that sound like the symptoms of a bad overflow valve
