Just read in MotorTrend that they are planning to put the 4.5L Duramax Diesel engine in the Cadillac CTS in 2010. Cadillac is also coming out with 10 new cars. Just thought this was pretty cool and decided to share it with you all. I would drive a diesel CTS. I used to have a 05 CTS and it was a fun little car to drive.

 

That would be cool.

 

in europe they have a 3.9 Liter V-6 turbo diesel that makes something like 425 foot pounds of torque and gets 30 something mpg that they put in the european CTS. that would be fun but the 4.5 liter v8 sounds better

 

yeah well i just found out that production of the 4.5L is at a stand still. so as of right now it may not be going into anything.
