Default Adding 3rd battery to 6.5??

Could I add a 3rd battery to my 6.5 without blowing my alternator?
Completely stock 96 C2500. I'm going across country and am going to have some toys running on an inverter, just want the extra battery to handle the outflow.

You'll be fine, just as long as you don't exceed the rated output of your alternator.

You can add it fine just match up the battery cables. I am thinking about adding a 3rd one to my truck.
