Default fuel pressure guage

hey guys i have a 96 12 valve and im wondering were i install the electronic sensor for my fuel pressure guage?
i seen a picture of the 24 valves that have bolts in the top of the fuel filter you just unscrew and screw the sensor in. my 12 valve doesnt have that. what should i do?

Number 1 - return that fuel pressure guage. You want a mechanical guage as you will find your electric senders will not last on a 12V, as they get hammered with pressure spikes.

The best thing to do is pull out the banjo bolt on the P-7100 inlet, get a letter drill bit (size R), and tap it 1.8" npt. You will want to install a needle valve to dampen the pressure spikes from the P-7100 and run it barely cracked. Heres a pic:

I agree with Dr. Evil, get a mechanical guage, I put a electronic gauge in 24v and it only lasted a couple of months. The senders don't hold up to the viberations these engines make.

Mech gauge with Isolator works the best IMHO
