Default Glow Plug Or Relay Problem

I'm new to this but I have a 2000 F-250 with a 7.3 Diesel. When it gets cold, it takes me about 10 minutes of "wait to start", cranking, then turning back off again, only to repeat this unti it starts. I plug my truck in at night, when I do this, it starts right off with no problem. But after 12 hours or so setting cold, it takes too long to start. If you could, please help. I understand electricity/electronics, so if anyone could let me know what is happening or how to check the glow plugs or the glow plug relay, (or where it is located) it would be very much appreciated.

If it's below 0, it's normal to have to hit the plugs twice. If it's above 20, may have a few dead ones.
