with a sigma pump i would not doubt over 7k rpm but that pic is a measly vp44 so its kinda impressive

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but it almost looks to me like a pic of a cluster test. Have you noticed how only those two are visible and none of the other gauges? I am not saying it can't be done, as I was at over 3700 and at the speed limiter when I blew my headgasket, it's just that the pic is a bit fishy.
