VWs have been getting 40-50+ MPG for decades. The cool part is they have just been getting more and more powerful over the years. The sad thing is that we don't get 170whp TDIs VW has over in Europe.

i dont like mine that much. kinda boring to drive and unmodable. i wish i atleast got a stick though. plus i only get 32 city and like 40 highway so ehh
