Default cummins fuel plate

Hi guys, i have a 1996 12 valve and i am looking to put a fuel plate in it, i normally just use it for driving around but i want a little more power for heavy towing and just showing off sometimes.. what # of fuel plate should i get?

put a #0 plate in it

the stock fuel plate?
what # can i get to give me a boost but just drop it in and go
no modificatiions?

you pump has a stock fuel plate in it. you can move it all the way forward then back it up 1/16 of and inch. you could put a #10 or #100 in it. more boost you can pinch off waste gate line.

soo i can put a #10 in it and i will gain some power, but not need any adjusting or modifications?

no you should be ok with #10 or #100 but go easy on trans. is your truck stock.

How heavy do you tow??

Id say a #10 for slid most of the way forward for screwing around, and then when you want to tow heavy, back it off some.

my trucks pretty much stock.
i got a 5spd manual in it.
so i should probably get a #10 fuel plate?
